i attempted my first ever painting project on dd's room. We did a lilac color with a butterfly border and it looks very cute! we even got the border and decals at the dollar store, and they actually work! gasp. we saved over 37 dollars on wall borders. woohoo. i think it's especially sweet that she is totally okay with going the economical way and is so appreciative of her new room.
poor girl has been waiting for a "beautiful room" since we moved in 7 years ago. bad mommy (blush). anyway, tomorrow we're going to do all the organizing and putting everything back together, a lovely ending to a spring break. Now here's to hoping that the paint fumes will actually GO AWAY so that she can sleep in it, lol.
